What we collect
Volunteer applications. When you submit the volunteer form, we collect your name, contact details (email and/or phone), your application content, and any CV you attach. This information is emailed directly to volunteer@pacsthailand.org and is not stored in any external database or third-party platform.
Stray reports. When you submit a stray report, the same applies — name, contact details, and the information you provide about the animal are emailed to info@pacsthailand.org and not stored elsewhere.
Donations. When you donate via Donorbox, Donorbox processes and holds your payment data on your behalf. We only see your donor name and donation amount — we do not have access to your card details or billing address.
What we don't collect
The short version: very little.
We have deliberately avoided collecting data we don't need.
- ✓ No tracking cookies. We do not set any cookies that track your behaviour across the web.
- ✓ No third-party advertising. There are no ad networks, retargeting pixels, or social media trackers on this site.
- ✓ No resale of any data, ever. We would never sell, rent, or trade your personal information.
- ✓ No analytics tied to your identity. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which is cookieless and IP-anonymised — we can see aggregate traffic numbers, but not who you are.
How long we keep it
Emails submitted through our forms sit in the PACS inbox for as long as they remain relevant to us:
- Volunteer applications — typically held for around 12 months, then deleted unless you have become an active volunteer.
- Stray reports — held for as long as the animal is being treated, or until the case is resolved.
- Donor receipts — kept indefinitely for financial record-keeping, as required by Thai non-profit regulations.
Any of these can be deleted on request — see the section below.
Asking us to delete your info
Email us at info@pacsthailand.org and tell us what you'd like removed. We'll take care of it promptly — no lengthy process, no forms to fill in. Done.
Cookies
This site uses no tracking cookies. The donation widget (Donorbox) sets a small functional cookie during checkout to manage your session — that's it. It is not used for tracking or advertising, and it disappears when you close your browser.
Updates to this policy
If we ever change this policy meaningfully, we'll note it here with a date. We won't bury it in a changelog — if something important changes, we'll say so clearly at the top of this page.
