On-site bungalows. Steps from the clinic.
Steps from the clinic.
Volunteers who live on-site are better placed to provide consistent care. The bungalows sit within the clinic compound — two minutes from the wards. Comfortable, practical, and nothing more than you need.
The bungalows
There are six bungalows in total, set within the clinic grounds. They are simple, functional, and genuinely comfortable for a three-month stay. Koh Phangan is a tropical island — the accommodation reflects that.
4 concrete bungalows
- Double bed
- Ceiling fan
- Mosquito net
- Bamboo furniture
2 wooden bungalows
- More rustic character
- Same essentials included
- Slightly smaller footprint
What is included
WiFi — shared connection, suitable for calls and browsing

Drinking water — supplied to the compound
Basic kitchen supplies — rice, tea, coffee, and milk are provided communally

Who can stay in the on-site bungalows

A note on island life
Koh Phangan summers are hot. Bring lightweight clothes, strong sunscreen, and a Thai mobile SIM — the major operators (DTAC, AIS, TrueMove) all sell tourist SIMs at the ferry terminal. Mosquitoes are real. Your bungalow has nets, and the clinic compound is managed — but bring repellent. The nearest pharmacy and 7-Eleven are a short motorbike ride away.
