Where we
focus.
PACS works on five interlinked causes — each one is part of keeping Koh Phangan's animals healthy and the island rabies-free. Click any to read deeper.
Every front matters
Each cause supports the others. Vaccination without neutering can't control population; neutering without education doesn't last. PACS treats all five as inseparable.
Recovery & Rehabilitation
In-patient hospital care for sick and injured stray and temple animals — wounds, infections, road traffic accidents, and more.
Neutering
Humane population control through sterilisation — keeping numbers manageable without the cruelty of culling.
Vaccination
Rabies, distemper, parvo, and adenovirus vaccines — the reason Koh Phangan has been rabies-free since PACS opened in 2001.
Education
Teaching owners, locals, and visitors about responsible year-round care — celebrating the warmth of Thai stray culture while building on it.
Adoption
For the small number of recovered animals that cannot safely return to street life — we find them permanent homes, or refer to trusted partner organisations.
Every cause needs your support.
None of this happens without donations. No government funding, no institutional grants — just people who decided the animals of Koh Phangan deserve better.
